ABOUT ME: I am a Certified Master Watchmaker. I entered the field of aerospace and medical technology (diagnostic equipment,) making and designing experimental precision parts on 8,12 and 20mm lathes. I worked with engineers on design, made the parts which they then incorporated into a blueprint. Many blueprints still exist which bear my name and the tag, "****** only." I have also done milling and grinding on the above sized lathes and for the most part, designed and made my own tools. I.E. I designed and made a tool to drill through material the thickness of a hair. I have made diamond wheels and worked with Stainless Steel, Kel-F, Nispan-C, Berylium copper, Cobenium, Glass and other materials.

Most of my endeavors have been concentrated on making the initial parts and consulting with the engineers on how they could be made in production. I am willing to answer questions, review blueprints and even sketches (with definitive goals.) If I cannot help you there will be no charge. If I can, we will correspond privately.

Other areas of my website are my personal interests: Formula One racing (some Nascar) and Classic cars. As a young man I was heavily involved in drag-racing and circuit racing.

"My wife threatened to lock the computer unless I included a picture of her cat. Just before Christmas in 1986 my wife and daughter went to The North Shore Animal League on L.I., New York. Two cats presented themselves - Merry Christmas and Jingle Bells. They fell in love with Merry Christmas, but decided to switch names as they reasoned screaming Merry Christmas in any other season might make them candidates for the fifth floor. So, somewhere out there is a male cat called Merry Christmas. Jingles came to Florida with us seven years ago and promptly got lost. Six months later (after adopting two more cats,) my wife, who writes a column for a local paper put a picture of Jingles in an article she was doing about cats. You guessed it. A lady called, the cat was picked up and there was much rejoicing. In that the lady had rescued Jingles only about 6 weeks prior, we now call Jingles, The Jungle Cat. How she survived in the wilds of Marion County is beyond us. She chased off the female we had adopted -- not to worry, it got a good home -- and now JB reigns supreme. I hope my wife is happy now and will allow me to continue with my cars."
